Dreams do come true! Several years ago, Hector Del Carpio, Pastor Fabian and I had a dream of beginning a Bible School in the Marquez area of Lima, Peru, the region where Fabian and Cecilia are pastors. We shared this dream with other pastors and church leaders in the area, and they affirmed the need for Bible Training there. Soon after that we launched “The Marquez Project” and acted in faith to make this dream a reality. Many of you helped along the way and became a part of this dream to train indigenous Peruvian leaders. Dreams do come true!We opened the Hearts on Fire Bible School by offering seminar classes. Later, we began offering regular Bible classes through our friend Marco Aroni of Pacto de Vida Universidad. They supply the video teachings, the curriculum, the tests and other course materials. We started those classes two years ago. Last Saturday night (August 13th) we held our first-ever Hearts on Fire/Pacto de Vida Bible School graduation ceremony. We are so excited about the 25 students who graduated. I wasn’t there in person, but thanks to the wonders of technology, I was able to watch the entire ceremony, and I was even able to speak to the graduates in real time through Skype. I felt like crying tears of joy as I watched these students — complete with cap and gown — come forward to get their diplomas from Hector and from Dr. Deaton of Pacto De Vida Universidad. I’ve experienced some wonderful ministry moments in my life and — I have to tell you — this was certainly one of the most memorable. It will be forever etched in my mind. We’re so proud of these students! Many of them are already pastoring or ministering in other ways in the Peruvian churches we work with, and most of them work full-time jobs as well, so there commitment to persevere to graduation was remarkable. On behalf of all of us with Message Ministries and Missions, thank you for being a part of this dream and for helping to make dreams come true. Working together, we are training indigenous Peruvian leaders, feeding the poor, providing homes for the needy and so much more! Please be in prayer as we prepare to open our Vocational Training Center in Lomas de Carabayllo. And once again, thank you.

Opportunity and Needs

If you have a heart for training indigenous leaders, including pastors and missionaries.  This is a great opportunity for you to get involved.

Your donation supplements the expenses for students who attend the school.  Recently 24 students graduated the first part of the training program with Pacto de Vida Universidad, our ministry partners.

We need $600 each trimester.
