August – Our God is and Awesome God

This past Sunday we sang the old Rich Mullins Song, Awesome God. In it, he sings,
“Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom power and love
our God is an awesome God.”
That song reminded me that our God indeed is all powerful and all knowing; an ever-present help in time of need. He is who we live for, and whose purposes we long to fulfill.
Sometimes, we face significant challenges as a small missions organization, but God sees our every challenge as an opportunity to manifest Himself and display His greatness. We thank you, God, for your
faithfulness! We also feel genuinely blessed to have caring and committed mission supporters with similar passion for God’s Great Commission. Since we don’t have personal contact with many of you, we wanted to dedicate space in this newsletter to you. Thank you for your love and commitment to God and to His call to reach this world with His message of salvation. Thank you for trusting us as your mission ambassadors to the third-world. We want you to know that we’re committed to faithfully complete the call of God.
We have certainly made mistakes along the way, but we’re learning and growing. After working in missions for many years we truly believe that indigenous missions is the way to go! This missions approach produces the most fruit with the least money. For the cost of one American missionary family, we can support many indigenous workers to reach the unreached in their native tongue. These natives understand the culture and false religions of their people and know how to explain more clearly why they need Jesus Christ.
We are not against strategic American missionaries on the field. We have seen missionaries like Jim Randall effectively encourage and train native missionaries, pastors, and leaders. Now more than ever we must focus on training and releasing these missionaries, pastors, and leaders to reach their own countries.

Please continue to pray and trust the Lord with us as we send support and training to indigenous ministers on the mission fields of Cambodia, China, Laos, India, Myanmar, Peru, Thailand, and Vietnam. Our God is an awesome God and He does awesome things through His people when they band together to fulfill His plan around the world.

In closing, let me say that God’s Great Commission truly is great and requires great commitment to fulfill. Sometimes it looks like a task — a commission too big to accomplish. Then we stop and think about God’s greatness and enormous passion to reach this world with His message of salvation — and He inspires us to believe, to go and to send! Thank you for doing your part. Gloria a Dios!

June – God’s Power in Asia – Preparing to GO – Videos and More

What is it like to live your whole life without once hearing the good news of God’s mercy in Jesus Christ? Millions of souls in Cambodia live in that exact spiritual darkness; but last year, God granted us to go and shine His light. One Cambodian man’s response to his first ray of gospel light granted me fresh vision of the wonder of Jesus’ work on the cross.
We held an eyeglass clinic in a village near Kandal for about 120 villagers. After receiving free new eyeglasses, the Cambodians crowded into small rooms to receive prayer and hear the gospel. One man walked in slowly and hunched, with bags in his eyes. I could tell He carried much weight in his heart. He seemed very weary but maintained respectful focus while we preached the gospel. The Lord moved powerfully. God granted me freedom to preach from the heart. I watched in amazement as God rapidly healed all the health-impaired Cambodians in the room as a testimony to the gospel. Already familiar with the gospel, I honestly felt more awed by the unfamiliar miracles than by the truths I proclaimed.

God opened his eyes and heart to see Jesus!

But the weary Cambodian man gloried in something much more valuable than the miracles he saw. Awed by the gospel message He had never heard before, he lifted his tired eyes to ask me a question. “So you’re saying that if I simply turn from sin to Jesus Christ, God will forgive me of all the things I’ve ever done wrong?” The man looked incredulous, as if God’s truth could not possibly be that good. For the sin-weary and guilt-laden Cambodian man, it seemed unbelievable that Christ called Him to come and find rest for his soul (Matthew 11:29). My heart beamed for joy at the question. I looked in the man’s eyes and reassured Him: “That’s exactly what I’m saying.” Jesus calls all the people in heavy-laden Cambodia to come to Him for rest.

Our prayer and evangelism room at the eyeglass clinic outreach in Kandal.

This June, my parents and I will join Southeast Asian missionaries to reach the unreached of Cambodia once again. For one week we will be joined by a mission team from Japan. We will shine the light of the gospel into unreached villages through eyeglass clinics, outreaches and gospel literature. We believe that many more weary Cambodians will glimpse Jesus’ light for the first time — but we can’t do it without you. Would you pray? Would you consider supporting our mission financially? God will not forget your intercession and generosity.
We’re just six days away from our departure date for SE Asia. We’ll fly out next Wednesday morning and will arrive in Bangkok, Thailand twenty-eight hours laterOn Friday morning we’ll meet up with Jim Randall at the airport and fly to Pnomh Penh, Cambodia to begin our 17 days of ministry.
The first ten days of ministry will be Anne, JJ, Jim and I working together with indigenous Cambodian pastors and missionaries, taking the gospel to unreached villages. On June 17th we will be joined by an American team from Japan. This group of five will come as a relief after our initial ten days of ministry. They have prepared music, drama, bible verses and testimonies to share! The plan is to visit one village a day during the weekdays. We will pray with people, do eyeglass clinic outreaches, share music, drama, testimonies and always present a clear message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
JJ worked hard designing Evangelism charts and a multi-page, full-color gospel tract to hand out to people. On the back of the tract is our website www.hope-cambodia.comFor those that have phones (many do even in impoverished and remote areas nowadays) they can go to the site to hear the gospel message again and to find out how to follow the Lord.
Please pray for God to move in powerful ways. We are expecting God to heal people both physically and spiritually. With you praying as we GO, we have even greater confidence in what God will do. Prayer and faith are the mighty spiritual tandem that moves mountains of fear, doubt, unbelief, darkness and sickness. Gloria a Dios!!
We’ll carry most of our personal items in our carry on suitcases, and ministry items in our check-in suitcases. Which will include:
  • 800 pair of eyeglasses
  • 3 Sets of 11″ by 17″ Eyeglass Clinic Evangelism charts.
  • 1500 Khmer booklet Gospel tracts we had printed.
  • A battery operated Portable Sound Mixer and Microphones.
  • Some children’s ministry items and more!
With your support, many of the expenses of the trip have been met; we are only a few thousand short. So it is not too late to help! Thank you so much for those who have been praying and to those who have donated. Having most of the funds needed as we get ready to depart is a tremendous blessing.
We will be posting updates of our time in Cambodia on our Facebook prayer page. If you would like to keep up with us and pray for us during the mission, just hit the link below and request to be added to the group.
Thank you, Brian
If you would like to pray very specifically for us during our time in Cambodia, we will gladly send you a PDF copy of our day to day schedule including the names of villages, the names of the pastors we are working with. If you would like that please E-Mail us using the link below or write us at

March – Reports from the Mission Field

As we celebrate Jesus this Resurrection weekend we are ever so grateful for the love, grace, mercy and goodness of God. He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to make a way of salvation through His horrendously painful sacrifice on the cross.
Without Jesus we would be utterly lost, living in darkness, without hope in this life and for eternity.
Now, because of His great love, we are committed to sharing His gospel throughout the world. God’s desire is our desire and we are determined to GO and SEND, so that others can hear this message of salvation found in Jesus Christ. Thank you for partnering with us to fulfill His call.
In the last few weeks we’ve received the following reports from the indigenous missionaries we support.   Below are just a few of those reports.
Last month we sent a picture of Evangelist T____ and his dear wife.  We are thrilled to report that with the new motorcycle we provided with your help, they visited an area where Cambodians live in Vietnam and work in the factories there. While there they led three families to the Lord and they are planting a new church there!  Praise God!

Evangelist T______ Sharing the testimony about the new believers and the new church at one of the other churches in Vietnam.

Please pray for Jim Randall as he lives and ministers in the 10/40 window.  He needs your prayers as he ventures into these different countries to train and counsel leaders on how to be more effective in the Kingdom of God.  He is doing some of that training right now in Vi_____. Thank you!
A couple of weeks ago Pastor and Mrs. Isara led two more people to the Lord in the church they pastor. They are working hard to reach their community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This is something to celebrate. Thailand is a country where only .5% are Christians. Praise God!
Pastor J______ led a married couple to the Lord recently and baptized them as the Lord commanded us.
They are working hard to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Here again, this is something to celebrate in a country with so few Christians, right in the heart of the 10/40 window.
Praise God!
Pastor P_____ was teaching and training leaders how to preach the gospel clearly and to biblically pray for the sick.  He then took them to a local hospital to pray for the sick. One family received instant healing. When they got out of the hospital, they visited the church and gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus. Praise God!
JJ has been ministering in Peru since January. He has been ministering in different churches and doing Evangelism Conferences with groups of church leaders.
He has written a comprehensive syllabus to give out to conference attendees as well.
There are many reports of people getting saved, healed and delivered.

JJ and Cynthia with some of the Evangelism Conference attendees in Mala. Some of these conferences were organized by Marcos & Eloisa Venegas.

I (Brian) was recently in Peru for a couple of weeks. While there I spent a lot of time with the leaders we work with and we also hosted a three day Renew, Refresh and Revive Retreat with these leaders. It was a fantastic time, and God did some beautiful things in the hearts of these precious dedicated leaders. I taught a series on the Kingdom of God, including some things that were new and fresh to them. We prepared a syllabus for them to use to take these messages to their churches.

Part of the group stopped at a chicken restaurant after the retreat!

We sometimes need to be reminded that we are not just a bunch of churches, we are a Kingdom, and it is time to unite under King Jesus and carefully follow the instructions in the Word of God to fulfill His purposes and plans instead of our own.

2018 A Year of Opportunities

We’re both inspired and blessed to look back and see what God allowed us to do together in 2017. Together we took dives of faith to reach people with the gospel, and I sincerely believe God was honored.
God changed many lives as the gospel went forth through direct MM mission outreaches and our indigenous partners worldwide.
Here is a list of some of the things we did together!
  • Thousands heard about Jesus Christ for the first time and many received Christ.
  • Tens of thousands of meals were provided through the children’s feeding ministries in Peru and SE Asia.
  • Children were taught the Word of God at children’s ministries in Peru, SE Asia and India
  • Prefab homes were built for needy families in Peru.
  • Thousands received help through the Peru Flood Relief Project.
  • MM Mission Teams ministered in Peru, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and Laos.
  • People were blessed with the gift of sight and salvation through MM eyeglass clinic outreaches in Peru and SE Asia.
  • Youth in Peru, Vietnam and Cambodia attended MM discipleship and mission training retreats and camps.
  • Indigenous Pastors and Missionaries received financial support to preach the gospel to unreached villages.
  • Indigenous Vietnamese missionaries received motorcycles to travel to unreached villages with the gospel.
  • Many received healing as we prayed for the sick in the name of Jesus.
  • Orphans received food, shelter, education and discipleship at a children’s home /orphanage in Laos.
  • Most recently, your generosity provided gifts and the gospel for thousands of children and adults worldwide through the Christmas Blessing Project.
We are calling 2018  “A Year of Opportunities.” As we look out on the harvest fields of the world, we feel an eagerness to respond to God and fulfill His call. Throughout the year we will present special opportunities for the family of God to join us in fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commission. Like you, we want to stand before the Lord and hear, “well done, my good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).
Please keep us in prayer as we go forward into this Year of Opportunities. Together, let’s take dives of faith and trust the Lord to do “more than we could ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). God’s greatness inspires us to do greater things to bring glory to His name and to rescue the lost and hopeless. We pray that God fills your year with opportunities to demonstrate God’s glory to this broken world.
On December 25th, we partnered with Free to Serve Ministries to provide a Christmas Blessing Project outreach to 70 unreached villagers in Pankoi Village, Thailand. Our partner Pastor K. has labored as an evangelist and church planter in the Pankoi Village for some time now, and this outreach granted many new converts for him to disciple.
On Christmas, Free to Serve ministries gathered the Pankoi Village together for a special Christmas meal, played Christian music and preached the gospel. After the gospel message, 7 villagers received Christ immediately. Others received Christ later that day in private, and 3 more families came to Christ within weeks after the outreach through their new relationship with Pastor K. FTS leader David believes these new converts will soon lead their families to Christ. How it brightens our hearts to hear of salvation among the unreached!
During this outreach, God’s hand was also present to heal and deliver from demons. One Pankoi woman had not been able to walk for years, and thus could not work or play a significant role in the village. Our partners prayed for her in the name of Jesus, and to her amazement, God granted her to walk again! Other villagers visited our partners in private to seek deliverance from years of demonic oppression. Jesus set them free from the tormenting spirits and the villagers responded by surrendering their lives to Christ. Jesus is alive, and He loves the unreached people of Southeast Asia!
Thank you so much for supporting the Christmas Blessing Project in Southeast Asia. Your financial and prayer support has contributed to God’s great work in the Pankoi Village.
Thank you for helping to make this CBP Outreach a reality through your prayers and financial support.
Would you please pray for JJ Weller as he spends the next few months in the nation of Peru. He is staying at our mission base in Marquez and is working and ministering alongside the group of pastors and churches that we work with in Peru.
Please pray for God’s direction, anointing, wisdom and health to be on JJ. Please pray for Cynthia Noa our Message Ministries ministry assistant in Peru who is helping JJ organize the different ministry opportunities and helping with translation as well. Thank you!
Please pray that the local churches will be strengthened, challenged and built up though JJ’s messages of encouragement and exhortation.
JJ went at his own expense and has not asked for any help with expenses. If you would like to be one of his SENDERS we are putting a donation link below. Thank you!
If you would like to be an active part of the 2018 Year of Opportunities by making a one time donation or a monthly commitment, we have included a donate button.  We have also included a link to the Donation Page on our website where you can sign up for monthly, semi monthly, bi weekly, weekly or quarterly donations.
Thank you in advance for your partnership
in fulfilling God’s Great Commission!

Please continue to Pray for Jim Randall as he ministers throughout the 10/40 window.  Prayer support for Jim is so very important as he ministers to many indigenous missionaries, pastors and leaders in that part of the world.
God is using Jim to make these leaders much more effective in their ministries to those who have not hear and to new converts to Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Message Ministries

May 2017

Several years ago I found a picture of revivalist Jonathan Goforth standing with a large group of Chinese evangelists he trained in the early 20th century. My heart burned within me: “Lord, may I someday train powerful evangelists who can canvas their regions with the gospel!” This June, God has opened the door for Message Ministries to do just that — and I’m thrilled to join!

In late June and early July, we will hold missionary training retreats for young disciples from more than 30 provinces in Cambodia and ___________. While there, we will teach about the character of God and biblical evangelism. We expect for God to move powerfully, refreshing the young disciples and empowering them to reach their unreached neighbors for Christ.

My soul is all aglow with the possibilities of these training weekends. After this training, how many lost souls will these SE Asian Christians reach? How many evangelists will THEY train? Will God use them to bring salvation to their towns; revival to their churches? I know one thing for sure: these young disciples will leave these training weekends equipped to preach Jesus to those who have never heard His name — and Jesus will glorify His name by using them to change many lives. I feel deeply thankful to God for the opportunity.

Would you like consider helping us to complete this task? Please read the insert below.
Text “SEASIACAMPS” & preferred amount to 1-727-877-3224 (1-727-87-REACH).

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and mission support. Words cannot express our gratitude for your partnership with us in God’s call to reach the world. We know our role is small because God’s Kingdom is so big, but we want to faithfully complete the few tasks God has given us. I want to thank you specifically for your help with the Peru Flood Relief Project. Your generosity enabled us to help thousands of people!

I know it may seem we always ask for help. But we don’t ask for ourselves, but for people praying for God’s help and hope. We see ripe spiritual harvest fields around the world full of hungry and hurting souls. We want to jump with excitement at the opportunities God provides — but the spiritual and physical needs make our hearts ache. I hope you understand why we can’t be silent. We ask for help to meet the needs God places before us.

To get things done in the call of King Jesus, God’s workers need three things: finances, time and hard work. We must all learn to give financially — no matter how little or great. We must all give our time through volunteer service and/or prayer. And we must work until the task is complete, never stopping until the job is done. God has called us all to be missionaries — and we must complete the tasks He has ordained for us in the Great Commission. Thank you for doing your part! I encourage you to visit to see pictures, videos, and reports of what God does through us together by His grace and power. Thank you!

April 2017

Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support of the Peru Flood Relief Project. So far, thousands of flood victims have received ministry and relief supplies in places like Piura, Huarmey and in Cajamarquilla. This was only possible by the grace of God expressed through the generosity God’s people (that’s you). Without your help we couldn’t have accomplished much at all. The hurting people of Peru were very encouraged to know that God cares about them and that God’s people in America care too! Thank you!
Together with the Peruvian churches we are making a difference. So far we have received a total of $13,267 in flood relief donations, and we have used $10,919 on flood and mudslide relief projects around Peru. Your gifts have supplied food water, school supplies and more for those in need. We only have $1,817 left in the Peru Flood Relief account so we welcome your continued support.

Message Ministries and Missions’ Peruvian board of directors has decided to plant a church in Cajamarquilla, one of the areas devastated by the mudslides. They will send teams from their churches on a regular basis to minister to the people there both practically and spiritually.

In June and July, MM mission teams plan to construct prefab homes for several flood victim families as well. On the right, I’ve placed a couple pictures from my recent 10 day mission to Peru. Please go to to see more pictures, as well as video updates.

This little girl in Cajamarquilla really touched my heart. She had nothing but the clothes on her back and a tent to live in! We were blessed to give her and the other children some help and some hope!

When we arrived to Huarmey on the bus there was no one here. Within 15 minutes, hundreds of people were standing in line to get some relief items. We also shared the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

In June I travel back to SE Asia (Cambodia & Thailand) with my son JJ Weller and Darius Tears. We have already planned a youth/young adult discipleship and missionary training camp in Cambodia. Strong Cambodian believers from 25 different provinces will attend the camp, and we pray that we can help equip these young adults to go back to their communities as missionaries.

Only 1.61% of the population of Cambodia profess Christianity, and most Cambodians have never heard the gospel once. While 85% of the population professes Buddhism (Joshua Project), many young Cambodians do not practice Buddhism and are seeking for real answers. We hope to inspire young Cambodian Christians to rise up and reach their nation with the saving message of Jesus Christ.

  • Would you please pray for us as we prepare for this mission?
  • Would you pray for Jim Randall and his son Tim who will join us?
  • Would you please pray for God’s provisions for this trip, including travel expenses and the costs of the camps we will conduct?
Travel expenses aside, we need around $6,000 to conduct camps and conferences that we believe will impact a generation. We also need funds for Khmer bibles and evangelistic tracts in Khmer. We also plan to open our first Cambodian Feeding Center/Children’s ministry in the Ang Dang Slum Community in Pnomh Penh. Please pray that God will meet all of these needs.
Thank you and God bless you!

Hello from Chiang Mai,

Thank you for praying and for supporting the work I am doing here in SE Asia to advance the Kingdom of God. God has blessed and continues to open doors. I will be leaving next Thursday for Kunming, China to do several days of pastor training. It is a fact that we can become much more productive when we know how to do our job skilfully. Big companies and the military spend lots of time training their people to do their job and upgrade skills. It is the same in the Body of Christ. Churches often have training for leaders and seminars for people to become more skillful so they can accomplish more.

I like what Reinhard Bonnke says about his mission in life. I have come to “Plunder Hell to populate Heaven.” His ministry also trains others to do what he does after he leaves. Whatever God has called us to do as our part in advancing His Kingdom, we need to continually upgrade and improve our skills. God’s assignment for me it to continually encourage and train leaders for more effective ministry here in Thailand, Cambodia, _______, Laos, Myanmar, China, Australia and in Africa.

I spend time each week mentoring missionaries who need encouragement, prayer and suggestions for becoming more effective in their work. You might be surprised to learn that missionaries, as front line soldiers in the Battle for souls of men, women and children, are under continual attack from our spiritual enemy, Satan. We hear about the major attacks on ministries but missionaries are continually under attack here just like in your country. Discouragement, disappointment, family issues and finances are issues that most missionaries deal with continually. I spend quite a bit of time being a pastor to missionaries.

I am grateful that I have a great team of people like you who pray for me and as it were, “holding up my arms’ in the battle. (Exodus 17:12). Prayers, financial support to do the work and notes of encouragement are all part of supporting me and the work I do here in SE Asia and beyond. Thank you!

I flew to Bangkok last week for a meeting at the Nigerian Embassy with the Ambassador. As a result, I was promised a two year multiple entry visa for my next trip in the fall. God is also opening doors to South Africa and Ghana for that upcoming trip.

In June, Brian Weller and a team will come to minister and train youth leaders to become more effective in their ministry. Please pray for me as I work with local leaders to set up the schedule God wants for them.

God has kept me very busy so far this year and it looks like momentum is building for an even busier season ahead. He has also kept me healthy and full of energy. Thank you for your prayer and financial support that enables me to be God’s hand extended to the lost and dying people with no hope here in my part of the world, as well as to discouraged and/or hurting missionaries. Thank you again for your prayers and financial support.

May our God bless you greatly! Jim

March 2017 – Peru Flood Relief

Floods and mud slides are devastating entire regions in Peru, killing many and destroying many homes. The estimates are that so far approximately 100,000 homes have been destroyed, over 100 bridges have been washed out, many roads are now inoperable and impassable, and many lives have been lost. In some areas there is little or no food or water available and the situation gets worse by the day as the rains continue to fall.

If you are like me, you cannot stand by and watch these dear people suffer without doing something to help. Many of these people are our brothers and sisters in Christ. We have been ministering in Peru since 1999, so it is painful to watch this happen in a country that has been like a second home to us.

We are sending 100% of the designated funds we receive to the indigenous pastors and leaders we work with in Peru. These leaders are also the leaders of Message Ministries and Missions – Peru, and they can be trusted. As I write this, they are collecting help from their local congregations and purchasing relief items in Lima to bring to those in need. They are and will be working with other pastors and leaders in the devastated areas to help those in need. We have already sent all of the donations we have received so far from our online donors. We will be sending more in a few days as the donations come in.

Message Ministries will be on the front lines providing material needs and preaching the everlasting gospel to the victims. Cort Bennett – one of our mission ambassadors – and I will be going to Peru on April 7th to help with the relief and to formulate a long-term plan to help those God has connected us with in different areas of Peru. One area we’re already working in is Paita, Peru where 600 people were left totally homeless and thousands more were affected. In Paita, we are working with Pastor Martin, who graduated from the Hearts on Fire/Pacto de Vida Bible School many years ago. Pastor Fabian and Pastor Everth are helping him as well.

We have learned over the years that when a tragedy like this strikes, there are so many needs everywhere that we must focus on working with those we are relationally connected to. This way, we know the money that’s given will go where it is needed, helping people in practical ways, but also knowing they will hear the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. People need the hope that only God can give in times like this. Please go to the flood relief page on this website to see pictures of the work we are doing together. We will be posting them there as they come in on

Will you help us to serve the nation of Peru in its greatest hour of need? Any donation helps, regardless of how small it is. It all adds up and helps people to receive help in the name of the Lord Jesus. If you haven’t done so already, please watch our HELP PERU video on the top of this page..

Special thanks to our regular monthly donors for your ongoing faithfulness in giving towards our regular mission commitments around the world. Thank you to those who have already helped with the Peru Flood Relief Project, and thank you in advance to those who choose to help now. God bless you!

In His Service, Brian Weller

Hello Friends,

Thank you for praying for me. I have been in Australia almost a month and will leave next week for Thailand.

My impressions of Australia is that it is more of a lost country than Darkest America. There are some WONDERFUL Christians and great churches in this part of the country, like other areas. However, no one is really reaching out to the lost and the church seems to be in seclusion. There is no Christian book shop here in a city of 190,000 and the general population is VERY worldly but nice. I have met lots of people and almost none of the couples I have met outside the church are married. I don’t ask, it just comes out in conversation. They just move about from partner to partner.

The focus on missions from the YWAM Base is Papua New Guinea. They have one medical ship that stays there most of the time and they just received a new ship that arrived just yesterday. About a hundred or so of us went out to the harbor to greet it as it arrived. It will be used in the Solomon Islands to do medical, relief and carry evangelism teams for reaching unreached areas.

I have been helping with BAM TSV (Business As Missions, Townsville). We will have a conference in mid July to begin training BAM practitioners to reach into PNG and the thousands of islands throughout the South Pacific. There are many unreached peoples in these areas as well as Muslims in the Indonesian islands that have never heard the Gospel.

God Loves me and the people here have a wonderful plan for my life here in Townsville. It is soooo expensive here compared to Asia. I may continue to live in Asia and just travel back and forth to help them get going. I will probably travel to PNG on my next trip to see opportunities there. The need and the opportunity seem great there. The Prime Minister is coming to the YWAM base here next week on the inaugural flight of the PNG Airline to Townsville, the closest city to PNG. The YWAM Base will host a breakfast for him and a number of his cabinet and other government officials to kick off his tour of Australia. His government gives YWAM all the free fuel they can use for their ships and cars here and in PNG. They are a grateful nation and say it with more than words. If you would like to see a short video just go to .

  • Please pray for my future involvement here in Australia and the South Pacific Islands.
  • Please Pray for an increase in my finances if I am to be involved through YWAM here in Australia. They have great needs for their radio station and other ministries operating through here. I have the expertise and experience to help but need to know if it is God’s will.
  • Summer camps in Thailand and Cambodia as well as V________ Ministries (I have been asked to come meet some missionaries in June from the US who have some large works in V_______. They want to do some BAM ministry. I need to know if I should go meet with them.
  • In April we start BAM training via Skype video for entrepreneurs in Nigeria in preparation for the BAM Nigeria conference in October. I have been invited to go to BAM S. Africa in early October.
There is more but if you would just pray for those things listed above and for strength and finances to do all that the Lord has set before me. God has been generous and is allowing me to fulfill my destiny that He spoke over me more than 40 years ago. Thank you for your participation in what the Lord is doing to reach lost souls from every nation, kindred, tribe and tongue.
God Bless you, Jim

SOUTHEAST ASIA Updates and Opportunities

I write this newsletter from 35,000 feet in the air on my return from SE Asia with my good friend Hector Del Carpio. I have had another eye-opening trip to SE Asia. As I sit on this 12-hour flight I contemplate how to best respond to the many opportunities and open doors God has set before us. Our God does not open our eyes to open doors that He doesn’t want us to see and walk through. He has a purpose in everything that He does, and when He transmits those purposes to us, it is our responsibility as disciples of Jesus not only to listen to his word but to obey it.  Jesus said in Luke 11:28, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” The Apostle James gives us some great advice in James 1:22: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says!” It is our desire to be faithful to the call of God!
God is raising up a people who will not only be hearers of His word but dedicated doers of His word. I truly want to be one of those people! How about you? We love talking about the great things God has done both in the Bible and history, but the truth is that God also wants to do great things through each and every one of us.  We may have different roles to play in God’s great purpose for the Great Commission and world evangelization, but each one of us must fulfill our role with an excitement and dedication that can only come from the throne of God’s grace and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, many will miss out on a great walk of faith and will continue to make excuses as to why they are unable to do what the Bible says to do. Each one of us, including me, will answer to God for the times that we talked which we didn’t follow up by action. The shame is that billions of people are affected by our collective disobedience and nonchalant attitudes towards world missions. Millions die each year who never once had the opportunity to hear God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ because we often chose selfishness and disobedience over selflessness and obedience. Sad but true!
My prayer on our recent trip to SE Asia was that God would open up the right doors for us to help indigenous leaders mobilize youth and young adults to evangelize their part of the world. As I write this, I cannot tell you how excited I am to have these opportunities before us. The Holy Spirit has given the direction we prayed for, and with that, the faith to believe He will make these dreams a reality. I know he has placed this same dream in some of your hearts as well! You are hungry to fulfill the call of God by being either a goer, a sender, or both.
I want to share about two new open doors. The Lord has opened the door for us to help with two youth camps — one in Cambodia and one in _________. We will initiate the Cambodia camp, where we will disciple about 30-50 young people aged 17 to 25. Some youth leaders from __________might also join us for this camp. The goal of this camp is to help train and mobilize these young men and women to evangelize their country. In Cambodia, 71% of the population is unreached with the gospel and only 3.2% of the population are confessing Christians. Indigenous leaders will invite youth from different local churches so that they can return to help mobilize and train their spiritual families to GO.  We also hope to set up a discipleship network much like the Corazones en Fuego in Peru. James Sann will organize this camp and we will fund the greater part of it.
The Lord also opened the door for us to help with an already established camp in _________. This camp will have 300 youth from around the nation. We cannot talk much about this camp on the internet because _________ is a restricted nation.
We will work with an established network of Churches led by a new Pastor friend. What a blessing it was to sit with the leader of this group of churches and to see a man of humility. They have around 180,000 people in their network and asked for help to reach youth and train youth leaders that can reach their nation with the gospel.
They are an established ministry and have asked us to come and help with the camp which will undoubtedly have a profound effect on the nation. It is imperative to reach the youth and young adults in these 10/40 window nations where up to 50% of the population is under 30 years old. They must be reached and equipped to reach their nation with the gospel!
I will go to SE Asia in June along with my son JJ and a small group of college-age students to minister at these camps and at evangelistic outreaches. Please pray for us as we launch forward in these endeavors. We welcome your help!
In His service,  Brian Weller
If you would like to help with the two youth camps coming up in June in SE Asia we welcome your support. We are estimating we will need approximately $40 to $50 per youth which includes bus rentals, food, lodging etc. 100% of your gift will go towards sending an indigenous youth to camp.
If you would like more information on the location of the other youth camp in SE Asia please e-mail us at

Great time with Living Grace Ministries University students in Pnomh Penh, Cambodia.

Cambodian Village: Hector Del Carpio sharing the gospel with the people. It was a blessing to see some give their hearts to the Lord.

Pnomh Penh, Cambodia: This dear woman was so excited to receive this little gas stove. Thank you for your donations!

Steung Meanchey – Pnomh Penh – Cambodia: We were able to lead this dear woman to the Lord. Her daughter was already saved.

Ang Dang – Pnomh Penh, Cambodia: There are now 500 families who get fresh water from this water purification outlet. There are 2,000 families in this community and the word is spreading. We will be starting a children’s ministry and feeding center here in the next month or so.

A Missions Moment – My Eyes Were Opened

My eyes Were Opened was written on last years mission to SE Asia. I was writing as I was observing the many spiritual and material needs there. I was also impacted by the depth of the spiritual darkness I was seeing. God help us to keep our eyes open to your plan and your purposes to reach the world with your message of hope.

Please continue to pray for Jim Randall as he continues to minister to leaders in SE Asia and around the world.
He will be in Australia ministering for the month of March. Australia is key in reaching into the 10/40 window because of it’s geographic position. Pray for divine appointments for Jim as he travels throughout that nation in March.
Leaders like Jim have a very important role in the Kingdom of God today. Through many years of seeking the Lord, studying God’s Word and ministry experience Jim is able to help younger missionaries, pastors, evangelists and leaders to be more fruitful at a younger age and avoid some pitfalls that many fall into to.

In our efforts to reach the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation Message Ministries and Missions is teaming up with  to:
  • Share the message of the gospel in the language and the music of the people we are reaching in countries like Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, India etc. We will focus on the more unreached nations of the world found in the 10/40 window.
  • Share the vision of the various ministries we work with around the world through interview style radio shows which will air on One Jam Nation Radio. These will be used for vision casting and to raise funds to help these ministries that we are already helping and know well.
  • Share the needs that are on the mission fields through field reports, and ministry updates from our partner ministries in in the countries we are working in.
  • Provide the equipment necessary for each ministry to develop their own radio shows in their own languages to reach their own people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Provide air time on ONJR for these programs as they are developed.  We will also provide some funds for them to print up promo materials to draw people to their specific radio shows on OJNR.

A Missions Moment – Isn’t It Time?
In this Missions Moment, Brian shares the importance of surrendering our time, our talents, our resources and more to God. We want to do this because our God loves us and has a plan that far surpasses any plan we could ever dream up. If we surrender to God we will walk in His Power, His Purpose and His Presence as we move forward in life. Isn’t it time to make the necessary changes that will draw us closer to God and deeper into His purposes for us, and what He wants to do through us?

Please be in prayer for Hector Del Carpio and me as we prepare to minister in Southeast Asia in February. We will connect with Jim Randall, and we’ll visit and minister with the ministries we work with in Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, V________ and Laos. We will do a lot of traveling during this 16-day trip. This is our final newsletter before the trip, so I am going to list below some prayer requests for the trip, and while we’re in Southeast Asia, I’ll post updates on our prayer page If you are not a member of that group, please message me on Facebook and ask to be added.
  • Please pray for our visits to the Steung Meanchey and Ang Dong slum communities in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Ang Dung is where we helped install a water filtration system for the thousands of people who live there. We hope to do some vocational training while we are there and share the gospel with the people. Please pray for our visit to a village a couple hours from Pnomh Penh where we will be sharing the gospel with the hopes of planting a church there.
  • Please pray for our visit to a public school in the slums where we hope to start a children’s ministry outreach that will offer children a good meal and the Word of God. James Sann will be implementing this program with our financial help. We will need to invest around $400 to get some pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc. We may also need to purchase a TV and DVD player to show children’s gospel videos. We welcome your help with reaching these goals. We will fund these efforts on a monthly basis.
  • LAOS – Please be in prayer for our visit to the orphanage/children’s home that we support in Laos.
  • THAILAND & MYANMAR – Please pray for our visit to the northern part of Thailand with David S. We have been supporting indigenous missionaries through FTS ministries in Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and China. We hope to visit with some of these pastors and do some ministry while we are there. We will be talking to David specifically about doing some ministry with the youth and young adults when we return with a ministry team in July. With God’s help, we plan on returning for a month in June/July 2017.

  • Please be in prayer about an opportunity to provide the ministries that we work with in Southeast Asia the chance to broadcast radio shows in their own languages and to share about their ministries through one of our partner ministries,
  • Please pray for God’s provision for this trip and for everything connected with it.
  • Please pray for Jim Randall as he arranges our schedule, visas, and travel plans and as he continues his ministry there.

In His Service,  Brian Weller

We I was also encouraged and blessed by the reports about the Christmas Blessing outreaches in Southeast Asia. The reports from villages in Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia caused my heart to rejoice. In some of these areas, a meal was provided, and clothes were given instead of toys. The necessities of life are often the greatest needs in these regions. I have included a couple of pictures here, and I want to thank you for your help with the Christmas Blessing Project. Many lives were saved, and I know of two churches that are being planted in villages in Myanmar because of these Christmas outreaches. We praise God for His faithfulness and for your help. You can see more pictures at our website,
